It's October—I Smell A Giveaway!

In the spirit of the upcoming Halloween season, and because I now live in the center of the town Washington Irving made famous in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I've decided to hold a giveaway. Tell me your idea for a the most creative costume incorporating my new baby bump.  Follow me on Twitter and post your ideas on the feed, or jot it down right here on my blog.   The most creative idea can choose from either my Mudpuppy Horse Puzzle or Princess Puzzle.  Check them out by scrolling down and peering to the right of this page.  And hey, it's free loot.

Winner will be announced OCTOBER 20. Tell all your friends!

oh congrats on the baby bump! I admire your energy to make a costume. I had so many ideas when I went through Halloween prego but, by the time it got there I was too tired.

One such idea; Breaking Dawn had just come out and I debated about going as Bella carrying around a cup of "blood".

Been a long time, glad to find your blog again. Your work is still amazing.

Cheers,
Casey

I was trying to think of my own costume and something dawned on me last night, what about a jelly fish? You could wear a black or blue top then something that hung over your belly that was jelly fish color, then a tendrilous skirt or scarves under that for the tentacles. With your fashion sense I bet you could make that beautiful!

You should be a sundae in an ice cream cone. the cone would cover you from about your feet to waist. The ice cream/sundae will start at its widest from the belly and taper to your neck. And then make your face and head the cherry and the stem.

Kristen, what about a plate of spaghetti and the bump is your meatball?

hey kristin,
how about a bear bellied drunk sailor (with a tattoo, of course) or an unfinished knitted sweater, with your belly being the ball of yarn?!
